Collecting AVIO Points with British Airways

As a member of British Airways Executive Club you will be able to enjoy incredible benefits and special services that are exclusive to the Club members. How does it work?

All you have to do is collect AVIOS to spend on reward flights, hotels, car rental and upgrades. There are many ways to collect AVIOS and doing it is really simple.  You just have to give your name and membership number when doing your reservation and the corresponding AVIO Points will be credited to your account.

How do you collect AVIOS?

Collecting AVIO Points with British Airways (United Kingdom) is easy and quick:

You can collect AVIO Points every time you fly with British Airways or with one of its alliance partners like Air Berlin; American Airlines, Cathay Pacific, Iberia or Japan Airlines, among others. And you can even collect AVIOS flying on several other partner airlines like Alaska Airlines, Kingfisher Airlines and others. If you fly often, take your Executive Club Member Card and keep increasing your AVIOS!

You can also collect AVIOS when you are travelling! British Airways has several first-class hotel partners all over the world and by booking your stay at any of them you can add new AVIOS to your account. Some hotel partners include Marriot; Starwood Hotels; Hyatt Hotels and Resorts; Hilton Worldwide; Global Hotel Alliance; InterContinental Hotels Group, Taj Hotel, Resorts and Palaces, among many others!

 In case you rent a car at AVIS, remember to hand in your Executive Club Member Card and you will earn a minimum of 500 AVIO Points for your rental car. If you rent an AVIS four times in a year you will gain 750 Bonus AVIOS.

If you order currency at any American Express Airport Location with your American Express you will be collecting AVIOS, too. By making your reservation of any of British Airways (United Kingdom) vacation packages, which may include flight + hotel or flight + car rental, you will collect Bonus AVIOS. That is to say, it is more convenient for you to book a package because this will reward you more AVIO Points than booking each item separately. Also, if you arrange airport parking or ask for valet parking at any major UK airport; and if you buy items from the HighLife Shop on board your plane, or at many UK airport shops you will be collecting extra AVIOS.

In your everyday life, when you are shopping and doing your business, you will be able to add new AVIO Points to your account. How? Use your British Airways American Express Card at any of British Airways (United Kingdom) retail partners including HMV, John Lewis or BA eStore.
